The role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a junior Legal Counsel to join a high-performing Commercial Legal Team based in London. Reporting into a senior commercial lawyer, this role will support commercial legal matters across the Northern Region (UK, Ireland, and Nordics). The position offers exposure to a wide range of commercial agreements and cross-border work within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements including NDAs, DPAs, MSAs, service agreements, frameworks, and contract variations.
• Provide clear, pragmatic legal advice to stakeholders across sales, procurement, and operations, balancing legal risk with commercial priorities.
• Support the full contract lifecycle, including issue spotting, risk assessment, and resolution of contractual queries and disputes.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of legal templates, playbooks, and internal processes.
• Monitor and communicate legal and regulatory developments within the technology and telecommunications sectors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams on commercial transactions.

About you:

• Qualified solicitor (England & Wales or equivalent common-law jurisdiction) with 1–2 years’ PQE.
• Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence engaging non-legal stakeholders.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• A pragmatic mindset with a commercial approach to problem-solving.
• Genuine interest in building a long-term in-house career within the technology or telecommunications sector.
