Commercial Gas Engineer\n\nA well-established and award-winning building services contractor is seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join its growing team. With over four decades of successful operation across the Midlands, the company specialises in the installation, maintenance, and servicing of commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Its client base spans education, healthcare, manufacturing, and public sector sectors, and the business is recognised for technical excellence, reliability, and a strong commitment to customer service.\n\nPosition: Commercial Gas Engineer\n\nLocation: West Midlands\n\nSalary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum + Van + Package\n\nContract Type: Permanent\n\nStart date: December/ January\n\nRole Overview:\n\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for the service, maintenance, repair, and installation of commercial gas and heating systems.

Working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will ensure all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest professional standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nService, maintain, and repair commercial gas appliances, boilers, burners, and associated plant.\nDiagnose and rectify system faults to ensure minimal downtime for clients.\nUndertake installation, commissioning, and testing of new commercial heating systems.\nCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to reactive breakdowns.\nEnsure compliance with gas safety legislation and all relevant building regulations.\nComplete detailed service reports, documentation, and certification.\nLiaise effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams to meet project deadlines.\nAdhere to company health and safety policies and procedures at all times. \n\nEssential Requirements:\n\nValid Commercial Gas ACS qualifications\nDemonstrable experience working with commercial gas and heating systems in commercial environments.\nStrong understanding of system controls, operation, and maintenance.\nFull UK driving licence.\nExcellent communication and customer service skills.\nAbility to work autonomously and deliver high-quality work under pressure.\nExperience with mechanical and plumbing systems\nFamiliarity with BMS controls and energy-efficient heating technologies. \n\nHow to Apply:\n\nIf you are interested in working for this established company, please apply with your updated CV
