We are currnelry recruiting a CNC Turner with strong Fanuc programming skills to join a precision engineering company in Rotherham (S65) This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in producing high‑quality, accurate components for a range of industries.

Pay Rate: £16.20 - £17.20 based on Experience.

Working Hours: Set days: Monday-Friday or Set Nights: Monday-Thursday

Key Responsibilities

* CNC Programming — Create, edit, and optimise programs directly at the machine using Fanuc controls.

* Machine Setup — Set tooling, workholding, and offsets for production runs.

* Precision Turning — Manufacture components to exact specifications and quality standards.

* Quality Inspection — Use measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, gauges) to verify accuracy.

* Problem Solving — Identify machining issues, adjust programs, and improve efficiency.

* Reading Engineering Drawings — Interpret technical drawings and work to tight tolerances.

What We’re Looking For

* Strong experience as a CNC Turner in a precision engineering environment

* Confident programming with Fanuc controls (essential)

* Ability to work independently and take ownership of jobs

* Good understanding of tooling, speeds/feeds, and machining best practices

* Commitment to producing high‑quality work
