CNC Operator & Programmer

Temp to Perm

We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Programmer to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires strong CNC routing/milling knowledge and the ability to program and optimise machining strategies to meet quality and production targets.

Hours & Contract

41 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Temp to Perm

Key Responsibilities

*

Set up and operate CNC machines to meet production targets

*

Program and modify CNC machining strategies (Xilog / Maestro)

*

Select, set, and monitor tooling and tool life

*

Use measuring equipment (verniers, micrometers)

*

Maintain cutting schedules, machine housekeeping, and basic maintenance

*

Support continuous improvement initiatives

*

Train new CNC operators when required

*

Work independently or as part of a team

*

Follow all Health & Safety procedures

Skills & Experience

*

Essential CNC programming experience (Xilog / Maestro)

*

Parametric programming knowledge desirable

*

Experience in timber, door manufacturing, or engineering environments beneficial

*

Ability to read technical drawings and worksheets

*

Strong understanding of workplace health and safety
