CNC Machinist Bicester £15.00 - £17.00 per hour Our client, a well-established and reputable engineering company based in Bicester, is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced machinist to work within a modern manufacturing environment, contributing to the production of high-quality precision components for a diverse customer base. CNC Machinist Roles and Responsibilities: * Program and set CNC milling machines to manufacture components in line with customer specifications * Ensure all produced parts meet engineering drawings and customer quality standards * Select the most effective machining methods and tooling to maximise efficiency * Work to planned production schedules to meet both company and customer deadlines CNC Machinist Ideal Candidate: * Proven experience programming and operating Hurco vertical machining centres * Proficient in Visi CAD/CAM and/or Machining Strategist software * Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings * Completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship or possess equivalent hands-on experience * Experience programming and operating Fanuc-controlled vertical machining centres (desirable) * Familiarity with setting and operating multi-axis machining centres (desirable) * Experience using manual machine tools such as mills, lathes, and surface grinders (desirable) * Good general IT skills, including Microsoft Office CNC Machinist Working Hours and Benefits: * Monday – Thursday, 08:00 – 17:00 * Friday, 08:00 – 14:30 * Overtime is paid at 1.5 x hourly rate * 21 days holiday with option of Holiday Buy Scheme up to an extra 5 days * Pension with Royal London * Quarterly profit related bonus scheme * Westfield Health Cash Plan * Octopus Electric Vehicle Salary Sacrifice Scheme * Employee Assistance Programme * Flu vaccinations * Health medicals for hearing, optical and skin * On-site parking Jackie Kerr Recruitment is an independent agency that has been established for 28 years.
