20:00 About the Opportunity Bolt Technical are recruiting for a CNC Machinist to join a well-established precision engineering company. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern machining environment, producing complex components for a variety of high-tech industries. Youll play a key role on the shop floor, setting, operating, and supporting CNC machining processes to deliver high-quality and efficient production. Key Responsibilities Set, operate and run CNC machining centres (3, 4 & 5 axis) Work from engineering drawings to produce precision components to tight tolerances Load tooling, set offsets, and run programs efficiently Carry out first-off inspection and in-process quality checks Ensure all components meet required quality and technical standards Support troubleshooting and resolve machining or production issues Maintain accurate documentation for tooling and processes Perform basic machine maintenance and daily checks Work closely with Supervisors and Quality teams to meet production targets Support continuous improvement and productivity initiatives Assist in mentoring junior team members and apprentices What Theyre Looking For Proven experience operating CNC machining centres Experience working with aluminium and stainless steel Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Experience with Siemens or Heidenhain controls (advantageous) Background in aerospace, defence, or precision engineering environments (preferred) Strong attention to detail and quality standards Flexible and proactive approach to work Good communication skills and team-focused mindset Whats on Offer Competitive salary based on experience Shift premiums Free on-site parking PPE and uniform allowance Canteen facilities Ongoing training and development opportunities Stable, growing engineering business This vacancy is advertised by Bolt Technical, who are acting as an employment agency/business.
