Clinical Service Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Services Manager to join our luxury care and nursing home in Highgate. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional residential and nursing care, managing the care team, and ensuring the highest standards of clinical governance and person-centred care for all residents.

Location: North London
Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Days: Monday - Friday 1 early (8am - 4:30pm) or late (12pm-8:30pm) per week and 1/4 weekends
Salary: £69,000 + per annum (DoE) 25% Bonus potential

Deliver and oversee high-quality residential and nursing care for all residents, directly managing
Maintain clinical oversight of all resident nursing requirements and collaborate with senior management on complex care needs
Co-ordinate the resident assessment process, ensuring accurate person-centred care plans that reflect individual needs and preferences
Lead and develop the care team through regular supervisions, one-to-ones, yearly reviews, and performance management
Ensure full compliance with CQC Fundamental Standards
Oversee day-to-day clinical operations and ensure appropriate staffing levels and skill mix
Lead on governance, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance
Manage budgets, rotas, recruitment, and resource allocation
Implement robust medication management systems, including auditing, staff training, and working with GPs on medication reviews
Complete clinical and environmental audits according to the annual compliance programme and develop action plans where required
Act as an advocate for residents, maintaining their best interests in relation to safeguarding, mental capacity, and deprivation of liberty
Handle concerns and complaints from residents and families in a collaborative, prompt, and appropriate manner
Support infection control measures and participate in steering groups for medication, falls prevention, and other clinical areas
Coach, develop, and support your team, including mandatory training and professional development
Maintain accurate records and deliver high standards of resident care

Skills and Experience

Registered RGN with current NMC registration (essential)
Proven leadership and management experience in a care or nursing environment
Evidence of ongoing professional development within elderly care or appropriate discipline
