SEND And Inclusion - Engaging with Children, Young People, and Families
We're looking for someone who shares our passion for making a real difference in the lives of children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND).
As a Transport Entitlement Officer, you'll play a key role in ensuring that travel arrangements are safe, suitable, and cost-effective for those who need them most.
You'll be part of a team that puts children and families at the heart of everything we do. Your role will involve making day-to-day decisions about transport provision, working closely with schools, parents, and colleagues to ensure the right support is in place. You'll also help shape and deliver innovative solutions, such as Independent Travel Training, that promote independence and long-term benefits.
This is a role for someone who is confident working with complex information, understands SEND policy and law, and can communicate clearly and compassionately. You'll need to be organised, proactive, and ready to respond to changing needs, always keeping the child or young person's best interests in mind.
Everyone is expected to promote a culture of inclusion, dignity, trust and respect which is underpinned by our vision and Our Identity framework.
