The Holt is an established independent pub in Honiton, currently ranked #1 on TripAdvisor locally , with a strong reputation for quality food and consistent standards.
We are looking for a capable and reliable Chef to join our kitchen team in a busy, fresh-food environment.
Our menus are seasonal and ingredient-led , combining well-executed pub classics with more refined dishes. We cook from scratch and expect a high level of consistency, organisation, and attention to detail across every service.
The Role Preparing and delivering fresh dishes to a consistently high standard

Taking responsibility for your section during service

Working closely with the Head Chef to maintain kitchen standards

Supporting prep, stock control, and day-to-day kitchen organisation

Maintaining a clean, professional, and efficient working environment

Opportunity to contribute to menu development

What Were Looking For Solid experience in a fresh-food kitchen

Comfortable running a section during busy service

Strong attention to detail and pride in your work

Good organisation and ability to work at pace

A professional, reliable, and team-focused attitude
