I have a great Chef Manager position available at an Independent Education site in Sutton. This is a Monday to Friday role with core hours being 6.30am to 3.00pm. The contract is for 40 Weeks through the year,

This Chef Manager role will cater for a small breakfast service, and lunch service as well as some hospitality and events. You will lead a team of 1 other chef, a kp and 3 foh staff and report into an Operations Manager. This is cooking for primary aged children and staff and catering for around 300 covers on a daily basis

You will write a 3 week rolling menu so previous menu writing experience is essential and you should be up to date on latest trends within educational catering

Previous Independent Education catering experience would be a necessity for this role as well as Chef Manager experience. You will need to be confident in the back office functions as well as the cooking. This can be from within a Catering Company or an independent School.

The Chef Manager will need good people management skills, Financial Awareness as well as all H&S training and allergen awareness. An enhanced DBS will be required for this role
