Business Development Manager

We are working with a leading provider of temporary traffic management, barrier solutions, and event signage, who are looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to support growth across the South East region.

This is a remote position covering the Chelmsford, Maidstone, Garboldisham, and Horsham areas, reporting directly to the Regional Managing Director.

The Role

You will play a key role in driving business growth across the region, focusing on both new business development and account management. Working closely with regional leadership teams, you will identify opportunities, manage client relationships, and support the delivery of successful bids and tenders.

Key Responsibilities

Drive profitable growth through new business acquisition and retention

*

Develop and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities

*

Build and maintain key client relationships (Key Account Management)

*

Identify, prioritise, and secure new opportunities across the region

*

Support and contribute to tender and bid processes

*

Work closely with regional and central teams to deliver growth strategies

*

Monitor performance through regular reporting and KPI tracking

*

Contribute to regional growth campaigns and strategic initiatives

About You

*

Proven experience in Business Development / Sales

*

Strong background in client relationship management and winning new business

*

Experience working with bids and tenders

*

Ideally experience within Traffic Management or a related sector

*

Target-driven with a track record of achieving KPIs

*

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

*

Self-motivated, resilient, and commercially aware
