Central Employment is working in partnership with a leading North East Digital Marketing agency, as they look to appoint a Business Development working alongside the senior management team to managing/driving all new business activity for the organisation. Purpose of the role:- Create and develop new business opportunities in line with the new business targeting strategy across digital marketing and or advertising Take ownership for creating sales pipeline opportunitiesManage opportunities from prospect research to pitchIdentifying additional and value added digital media and creative services. Mentor and grow a team of Business Development Managers Role Responsibility Develop, deploy and follow-up outbound prospecting campaigns, specifically for Organic & Paid Social Media services and Creative solutionsReview media for opportunitiesProfessionally guide prospects through the sales processMentor & develop other members of the business development team to sellProject management of pitch teams to respond to RFIs and RFPs, ensuring an exceptionally high written and design standardBuild relationships with online marketing managers, directors and CMOsHandover clients to delivery teams as part of on boardingWork closely with senior leadership team to develop additional revenue opportunities within key eCommerce client accounts. The Ideal Candidate Experience in digital media, marketing or advertising solutionsCirca 3+ yrs in a new business focused roleCommercially astute and can build rapport with prospects very quicklyIn-depth knowledge of the broader digital spacePersonable, presentable and articulateA motivated and collaborative team player who is and outstanding written and oral communicatorThe ability to mentor junior sales staffA solid track record of generating profitable business and revenueJBRP1_UKTJ
