Standard working hours are Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 4:15pm and Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm, with flexibility required to meet the needs of the role.

The Role

This is a key commercial role responsible for driving sales and employer engagement activity across West Yorkshire (Selby through Leeds to Sheffield).

You’ll take ownership of your own territory, managing a pipeline of opportunities, building long-term partnerships, and delivering a first-class consultative sales experience to employers across engineering and manufacturing sectors.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Delivering a consultative sales approach across apprenticeship and training solutions

* Managing and developing a pipeline of opportunities to achieve personal sales targets

* Building strong, long-term relationships with employers and key accounts

* Delivering engaging sales presentations and proposals to prospects and clients

* Attending meetings with employers, stakeholders, and industry contacts

* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date CRM records of all activity

* Gathering and sharing market intelligence to support business strategy

* Supporting and attending events, exhibitions, open days and promotional activities

* Contributing to team activity, meetings and wider organisational initiatives

What We’re Looking For

* Proven experience in business development, key account management, or employer engagement

* Strong consultative sales skills and ability to influence at all levels

* Confident presenting and building credibility with clients

* Self-motivated, target-driven, and commercially aware

* Comfortable managing your own territory in a home-based role

* Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle

Experience in a similar role and sector would be a distinct advantage.

You’ll ideally be based centrally within West Yorkshire, given the regional coverage of the role.
