Business Development Executive

1 Days Old

We are working with a fast‑growing, FX and international payments business, working with UK and international corporates to manage currency risk, move money globally, and protect commercial margins.

Rather than transactional FX, they specialise in bespoke risk management and hedging strategies, supporting finance leaders with greater control, predictability, and confidence in volatile markets. Built with a modern, client‑led operating model, the business combines strong governance with speed, flexibility, and a high‑performance culture, offering employees the opportunity to build long‑term careers as the company continues to scale.

About the opportunity:

This is a front‑office Business Development role and a key entry point into a long‑term career in FX and financial services.

As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying high‑quality corporate opportunities, engaging senior decision makers (CFOs, FDs, MDs, business owners), and progressing well‑qualified, conversion‑ready meetings to Senior Closers and Senior Portfolio Managers.

This is not a volume meeting‑booking role. You'll be expected to uncover genuine FX exposure, commercial risk, and international payment needs, gathering high‑quality financial insight and delivering structured handovers that convert into long‑term client relationships.

Sourcing and targeting UK and European businesses with meaningful FX exposure
Conducting professional outbound conversations with senior finance decision makers

Qualifying opportunities thoroughly and delivering clear, structured handovers
Working closely with Senior Closers and Portfolio Managers to drive fast conversion
Maintaining exceptional CRM discipline and pipeline ownership
Developing strong knowledge of FX markets, macroeconomic drivers, and risk managementWho we are looking for:

Experience in a phone based sales role such as estate agency or recruitment
Ambitious, resilient, and comfortable in a performance‑led environment
Commercially curious with a genuine interest in financial markets
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Coachable, disciplined, and professional under pressure
Confident speaking with senior stakeholders
Motivated by long‑term career progression, not short‑term wins·

Why you will love working here:

Exposure to real financial markets, FX products, and hedging strategies
High standards, strong coaching, and performance‑based progression
