We're working on behalf of our client who is currently looking to recruit a Business Development Executive to join their growing freight and logistics team in Armagh. You'll play a key role in driving new business, building client relationships, and helping expand our customer base.
Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to identify and convert new business opportunities
• Follow up on warm leads and manage your own sales pipeline
• Build lasting relationships with clients and understand their freight needs
• Prepare and deliver tailored proposals and quotations
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service
• Liaise with internal teams regarding sales and marketing
• Provide regular reports on sales activity and performance to management.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
• Track activity and performance through HubSpot CRM

Criteria

• Confident communicator with strong phone and people skills
• Resilient, self-motivated, and target-driven
• Experience in outbound sales, telesales, or lead generation
• Experienced with using Microsoft Teams
• Proficient in CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) and MS Office
• Knowledge of the freight/logistics industry is an advantage
