Business Development Associate Director As our company grows and develops, we are ever expanding our teams. We have a great opportunity for a dedicated Business Development Associate Director to join our Advisory Division. SOCOTEC Advisory is a chartered quantity surveying and expert witness consultancy, renowned for its team of industry recognised experts and its delivery of robust and quality services. Our team comprises approximately 60 quantity surveyors with a broad spectrum of experience. This allows the delivery of services across most sectors, including residential, infrastructure and marine, in both public and private sectors. We are looking for a proactive, reliable and flexible Business Development Associate Director to join our team. Working in conjunction with the Director of Business Development, you will assist in all areas of Business Development to develop relationships with current clients, build new business opportunities, and ultimately drive income streams upwards. The role focuses on the development of expert witness practices and the enhancement of the company's profile in the market and its collective brand identity. This demanding role requires a highly motivated and driven individual with a proactive and strategic business mindset, strong inter‑personal skills, and the ability to multi‑task and prioritise. Qualifications:
Relevant experience within a Chambers, law firm, or similar professional services environment Business and/or marketing qualifications A significant track record working at a mid‑senior level within a leading set of barristers' chambers or law firm (10+ years) Experience of face‑to‑face business development both in the UK and overseas
