We are currently recruiting for a Building Safety Lead on behalf of Warwick District Council to play a critical role in ensuring compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022 , fire safety regulations , and wider statutory property obligations. Working across a large and varied residential asset base, this is a strategic and operational leadership role. You’ll act as the key point of contact for the Building Safety Regulator in relation to High-Risk Residential Buildings (HRRBs) and will oversee the development and delivery of the council’s building safety strategy, including the "big 7" compliance areas: gas, electric, asbestos, fire, water hygiene, lifts, and overall structural safety.
Responsibilities: Lead the council’s compliance with building safety and fire safety legislation, including development and maintenance of building safety cases.
