Our client is a civil engineering contractor offering a wide range of services across different infrastructure sectors. Their work includes, groundworks, infrastructure, RC frame, rail and utilities.\nAs Bid Manager, you will be responsible for leading, managing, coordinating bids as well as the production of technical proposals in support of pre-construction activities.\nDuties Include:\n * To represent the company in the delivery of tenders.\n * Review available information from PQQ / Business Development team\n * Prepare presentations and lead on mid-bid presentations and post submission presentations.\n * Commission and manager tender designs\n * Manage tender programme and budgets resolving critical issues\n * Develop working methods, evaluate alternatives and determine winning solutions\n * Develop tender winning strategies\nExperience Required:\n * Qualifications or Degree in Civil Engineering - desirable\n * Previous experience within a bid team or similar technical team, specifically related to the Civil engineering, Rail or Construction industry is mandatory.\n * Previous experience in Pre-Construction environment, preparing and winning tenders.\n * An excellent standard of written English.\n * A team player with strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills\n * Exceptional organisation skills and ability to manage multiple projects with strict deadlines with attention keen eye for detail.\n * Ability to work in a deadline-conscious, results-driven environment\n * A thorough knowledge of Word, Excel and other Microsoft Office software.\n * Experience of planning software such a P6 or Asta would be desirable.\nThe rate (or salary) is negotiable to secure the right candidate for this exciting opportunity.
