Job Description

Blue Legal have partnered with a leading professional services firm, who are seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join their Central Bids team on a 14-15 month FTC. The successful candidate will have full ownership of the strategic delivery of the bids process and will work closely with senior stakeholders across the firm. You will be supported by a dedicated Bids Team, with a process in place to ensure work-life balance is maintained.

The Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the bids capability, working with the Marketing and Business Development Director to drive strategy and deliver maximum value. Develop and implement project plans that align with business strategy, ensuring milestones are met on time. Leverage the correct skill sets to ensure efficiency and value in the bid process. Support conversion leads and provide guidance to junior team members. Advise teams and partners on bid strategy, ensuring best practices are applied to each opportunity. Manage the delivery of bids according to the project plan, meeting RFP requirements. Ensure compliance with firm policies and risk management processes. Participate in training activities for personal and career development.

The Candidate:

Proven experience working within a Professional Services environment. Extensive experience managing the bids process within a busy team. Strong understanding of the entire bid lifecycle, with a focus on winning. Degree or relevant professional qualification (). Ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage multiple projects concurrently.
