Behaviour Mentor – Primary – Brent

Location: Brent, North West London Start Date: September 2025 Daily Rate: £90–£105 Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Brent is seeking a confident and compassionate Behaviour Mentor to join their team this September.

You will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to support children in KS1 or KS2 who may be facing emotional or behavioural challenges. Your role will involve developing positive routines, implementing behaviour support strategies, and encouraging social and emotional regulation.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supporting children on a 1:1 and small group basis

* Implementing behaviour management plans

* Encouraging positive relationships and emotional wellbeing

* Working closely with the SENCO, class teacher and external professionals

* Helping to maintain a safe, structured learning environment

Requirements:

* Experience working with children or young people with behavioural or emotional needs

* Strong interpersonal and de-escalation skills

* A calm, empathetic and consistent approach

* Ability to build trust and foster motivation in learners

* Team-player with a proactive attitude
