Birmingham Healthy Minds is looking for dynamic and enthusiastic BABCP/BPS registered PWP’s to enhance our reputable service. As a motivated PWP with good Cognitive Behavioural Therapy skills you will inspire clients to improve their mental health using computerised CBT, video work, one to one and group workshops. Part of your role will include assessing a clients’ suitability for BHM, and where appropriate, signposting to other more suitable services.
Our current step 2 team are arranging a timetable of community events in which we can reach out to the diverse communities of Birmingham and reduce the stigma of accessing mental health services. We also actively encourage our team members to become involved in service development and now have a Teams chat which supports the sharing of innovative ideas.
At Birmingham Healthy Minds you can expect a blended way of working which means there will be a mix of office or community-based venues alongside remote, home working option. We offer appointments outside 9am-5pm which means there are opportunities to work evenings.
Main duties of the job
Location: Birmingham Healthy Minds covers the geographical area of Birmingham. This post is for the West Team based in the Hockley area of Birmingham.

As part of our safe recruitment practice pre-employment checks will be undertaken before any appointment is confirmed. As part of the selection process you may be required to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, however all cases of criminal record history are dealt with on a case by case basis.
Please note, if applicable for your role you will be required to cover the cost of your DBS certificate. This will be deducted from your salary over 3 months. You will also be required to sign up to the DBS Update Service before commencement with the Trust. The Trust will reimburse this. You will be contractually obliged to maintain your subscription.
All successful applicants will be required to complete the Trust’s induction programme. The Fundamental (Statutory and Mandatory) training will be in an e-learning format. You will be required to complete training modules online (approx. 9-14 hours depending on post) by the end of your second week with us.
