Overview
We are seeking an Associate Power Electronics & Controls Engineer to support the development of advanced electronic and control systems for high-performance automotive, motorsport, and aerospace applications. This role focuses on the integration of power electronics and embedded control, working on microcontroller-based systems that drive and optimise high-voltage hardware.
The Role
You will contribute to the design, development, and validation of embedded control and power electronic systems, taking ownership of defined work packages within a multidisciplinary engineering team.
Key Responsibilities Develop embedded control systems for power electronic applications Implement real-time control using microcontrollers / DSPs Contribute to firmware development (C/C++) for control and diagnostics Support design of analogue and control circuitry Interface with power electronics hardware (IGBTs, MOSFETs, gate drivers) Perform simulation, testing, and validation activities Troubleshoot issues and support root cause analysis Contribute to system integration (e.g. CAN) and engineering documentation What Were Looking For
