Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 + Package

Are you an ambitious Assistant Site Manager looking to take the next step with a leading Tier 1 house builder? Our client, a nationally recognised volume developer, is seeking a driven and organised construction professional to join their team in Solihull, supporting the delivery of high-quality residential projects across the West Midlands.
Role Overview
As an Assistant Site Manager, you will support the Site Manager in overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. You will be involved in coordinating trades, monitoring progress, maintaining site safety, and ensuring quality control across multiple housing plots.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in managing the daily running of residential construction sites
Coordinate subcontractors and ensure works meet programme deadlines
Uphold strict health & safety standards, carrying out regular inspections
Oversee quality assurance and ensure NHBC/Building Regs compliance
Support with site paperwork, reporting, and progress updates
Build positive relationships with the site team, contractors, and customers
About You
Experience working with a house builder or on residential projects
Strong understanding of construction processes and site management
Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
Valid CSCS, SMSTS/SSSTS, and First Aid certificates
Willingness to travel across West Midlands sites
Motivated, proactive, and committed to high-quality delivery
