Key Responsibilities

• Analyse market trends to inform trading decisions
• Build and develop range structures aligned with brand strategy
• Present and implement effective pricing strategies
• Review previous seasons and assess supplier performance
• Produce accurate demand forecasts
• Manage sizing, forecasts, and inventory within internal systems
• Regularly review budgets and identify opportunities for cost efficiencies
• Monitor in-season performance, including sales, stock levels, and markdowns

About You

• Confident using data analysis tools to interpret sales performance and market trends
• Strong understanding of pricing and markdown strategies to drive profitability
• Currently working as an Assistant or Junior Merchandiser, with hands-on experience planning and trading a department
• Trend-aware, with experience collaborating closely with Buying and Design teams
• Skilled in forecasting and inventory management
• Highly numerate with strong commercial awareness
