After extensive renovations and expansion, completed at the end of 2024, we opened our kitchen and restaurant. hometipple is now a shop, restaurant, bar and online retailer. We require a full-time Assistant Manager to help run and manage our shop, restaurant and bar. WSET Level 2 or preferably higher, and managerial hospitality experience, essential. Sharing full keyholder responsibilities. Helping to prepare for and assist with our ongoing program of events and private hires, including regular customer tastings. Assisting with monthly stock orders and stock takes to ensure appropriate inventory levels. Considering stock ordering and rota management within the wider context of how the business maintains profitability. Managing and maintaining EHO-compliant documentation. Assisting with website order fulfilment Taking part in regular new product tastings with suppliers & producers, both on and off-site. Helping write monthly wine lists, tasting note crib sheets for team members and dish-specific wine pairing suggestions.
