We’re seeking a proactive Assistant Facilities Manager to support the delivery of best-in-class FM services across a diverse commercial property portfolio — including multi-tenanted industrial, office, and neighbourhood retail schemes.\n\nReporting directly to the Head of Facilities Management, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, building strong tenant relationships, and maintaining compliance across multiple client sites.\n\nWhat You’ll Do\n\n * Assist in overseeing FM services across varied client portfolios\n\n * Support contractor management and supplier procurement\n\n * Administer Health & Safety and Contractor Registration Scheme systems\n\n * Conduct regular site and vacant unit inspections with detailed reporting\n\n * Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation\n\n * Build and maintain strong tenant relationships\n\n * Instruct contractors on planned and ad hoc maintenance work\n\n * Assist with service charge budgets, annual expenditure, and reconciliations\n\n * Support utility procurement, approve supplier invoices, and manage tenant recharges\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\n * Minimum 1 year’s experience in commercial facilities management\n\n * Strong knowledge of FM principles and health & safety compliance\n\n * Ability to work independently and proactively\n\n * Relationship-builder with suppliers and tenants alike\n\n * Willingness to travel to sites across the UK (typically within 2.5 hours)\n\nWhy Join Us?\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to broaden your facilities management expertise while working with a variety of clients and property types.
