This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and challenge students through innovative and engaging lessons, nurturing their creativity and practical skills. Key Responsibilities: * Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons across Art and Design Technology in line with the national curriculum. * Inspire students to explore creative ideas and develop technical skills through hands-on learning and experimentation. * Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress, providing feedback to support development and achievement. * Maintain an organised and safe learning environment, ensuring the effective use of materials and resources. * Contribute to departmental planning, curriculum development, and whole-school initiatives. Requirements: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant degree in Art, Design Technology, or a related subject. * Proven experience teaching Art and/or DT at secondary level (KS3–KS4). * Strong classroom management and communication skills. * A passion for creativity and a commitment to fostering student engagement and achievement. * The ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team.
