The Role
We are currently seeking a creative and committed Art & Design Technology Teacher for a long-term position at a secondary school in Peterborough. This role is available immediately and will run through to December 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive school environment and inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 through engaging and practical lessons in both Art and Design Technology.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Art and Design Technology

*

Foster creativity, innovation, and practical skills in students

*

Assess and monitor student progress, providing clear feedback

*

Maintain a safe, organised, and engaging classroom/workshop environment

*

Support students of all abilities to achieve their full potential

*

Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community

Requirements

*

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

*

Experience teaching Art and/or Design Technology at secondary level

*

Strong classroom management skills

*

A passion for creative subjects and student engagement

*

Excellent communication and organisational abilities
