Area Sales Manager - Homebased / Field Sales – East Scotland / Inverness

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Build and leverage strong customer relationships through genuine curiosity in the independent sector.
  2. Grow and retain customers, delivering profitable volume growth against targets.
  3. Partner with customers to understand their growth plans, add value, and offer practical solutions and products.
  4. Monitor competitor activity and proposals, ensuring your customers receive the best local solutions.
  5. Collaborate proactively with the Business Development Manager to understand new customer requirements and ensure smooth handovers.
  6. Act as a brand ambassador for Brakes in your local market.

You should be highly service-focused, putting the customer at the heart of everything you do, providing optimal solutions to support and grow their businesses. Demonstrate resilience, self-motivation, and a drive to succeed, with experience in meeting targets. Seek continuous development and leverage various learning & development programs. There are opportunities for career progression into diverse commercial roles.

You will need to be comfortable with our modernisation initiatives and new technology adoption to enhance customer experience and performance. Experience with Salesforce is advantageous but not essential.
