Our client, a well-established organisation within the finance and business services sector, is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join their finance team. As an Accounting Assistant, you will support the day-to-day activities of the finance department, helping maintain accurate financial records and assisting with routine accounting tasks. Working closely with senior members of the finance team, you will gain valuable exposure to core accounting processes including reconciliations, reporting, and transaction processing.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with processing invoices, payments, and expense claims.
Maintain accurate financial records and support data entry tasks.
Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions.
Assist with month-end finance activities and reporting preparation.
Support the finance team with administrative and accounting tasks as required.
Requirements
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline preferred.
Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Good organisational and communication skills.
Willingness to learn and develop within a finance environment.
