Accounts Assistant – Egham
Salary: Up to £32,000 + Study Support
A fantastic opportunity has become available for an Accounts Assistant to join our client’s team based in Egham. This role offers a salary of up to £32,000, along with study support towards AAT or ACCA once probation has been successfully passed.
As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the accounts department. Your responsibilities will include working across both the sales and purchase ledgers, carrying out daily cash postings, and completing bank reconciliations. You will also support the Accountant and wider management team with additional ad-hoc finance duties as required.
Key Responsibilities

Maintaining sales and purchase ledgers
Processing daily cash postings
Completing bank reconciliations
Supporting stock checks
Assisting with month-end reconciliations
Providing ad-hoc support to the Accountant and management teamAbout You

Previous experience in a similar Accounts Assistant or finance role within the motor trade industry is essential
Strong working knowledge of core accounting routines
Experience with stock checks and month-end reconciliations
Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
Knowledge of the CDK/Kerridge Dealer Management System would be advantageous
