Account Manager Engineering / ManufacturingBasildon From £35,000 benefitsWe are working with a well-established and growing engineering manufacturing business seeking an experienced Account Manager to join their commercial team.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a customer-facing role within a technical environment, where you will play a key part in managing client relationships, coordinating orders, and driving account growth.The RoleYou will take ownership of a portfolio of customer accounts, acting as the main point of contact and ensuring a high level of service throughout the full order lifecycle.Responsibilities will include:Managing day-to-day communication with customers and acting as their internal representativeCoordinating orders from placement through to delivery, working closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teamsMonitoring schedules, resolving issues, and ensuring on-time deliverySupporting commercial activities including quotations, cost tracking, and margin awarenessPreparing and presenting customer performance data and KPIsBuilding strong, long-term relationships to support account growth and customer satisfactionCollaborating cross-functionally to support new projects and continuous improvement initiativesAbout YouExperience in account management or customer-facing roles within manufacturing or engineeringStrong commercial awareness and understanding of revenue and marginConfident communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levelsHighly organised, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExperience with MRP/ERP systems and handling complex order processesIdeally some exposure to electronics, electro-mechanical, or technical productsWhats on OfferSalary from £35,000 - £38,000 (depending on experience)25 days holiday bank holidays (plus additional service-related leave)Pension schemeEarly finish on FridaysSupportive and collaborative working environmentFree parking and on-site facilitiesIf youre looking for a role where you can combine customer interaction, commercial responsibility, and technical exposure, wed love to hear from you.JBRP1_UKTJ
