We're looking for an Account Manager to join our Advertising Solutions business across EMEA. You'll play a critical role in managing, maintaining, and growing strategic partnerships across our Gaming Advertising Solutions portfolio. You'll bring strong experience across gaming and advertising/media/marketing, a consultative mindset, and the ability to expand and optimize a meaningful recurring book of business.
This role is London-based and focused on driving client success and revenue growth with top-tier Mobile and XP Gaming companies and their media agencies across EMEA.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own and grow a portfolio of named accounts across EMEA, with emphasis on Mobile and XP Gaming publishers, studios, and their agencies.
- Drive overall client success by overseeing campaign performance and ensuring delivery against agreed KPIs and marketing objectives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing day‑to‑day communications and building strong, trusted relationships with senior marketing stakeholders (Marketing, UA/Growth, Brand, Media, Partnerships).
- Partner cross‑functionally (Sales, Product, Marketing, Operations, Data Science, Legal, Finance) to ensure seamless campaign execution, optimization, and renewal.
- Provide quantitative and qualitative insights to inform optimizations, surface performance trends, and unlock incremental growth opportunities.
- Lead renewal and expansion conversations, identifying upsell opportunities aligned to client objectives and performance outcomes.
- Develop product fluency: become an expert in Discord's advertising solutions and tailor recommendations to evolving client needs.
- Apply structured account planning to prioritize opportunities, grow revenue, and deepen multi‑threaded relationships across complex stakeholder groups.
- Represent Discord credibly within the gaming, media, marketing, and advertising ecosystem across EMEA.
What you should have
- 5+ years of experience as an Account Manager within digital advertising, media, or ad tech—ideally within the gaming ecosystem.
- Demonstrated track record of retaining and expanding revenue within a recurring book of business.
- Strong understanding of the EMEA gaming landscape, including Mobile and XP Gaming, digital media formats, and buying tactics.
- Fluency across full‑funnel marketing campaigns (brand, mid‑funnel, and performance).
- Experience delivering executive‑ready reporting (e.g., wrap reports, QBRs) and translating data into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Commercial acumen with experience supporting renewal negotiations and identifying expansion pathways.
- Ability to build relationships with senior marketing decision‑makers and influence strategy through data and insight.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data, identify trends, and drive optimization.
- Comfort operating cross‑functionally to unblock clients and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills and executive presence.
- Willingness to travel across EMEA for in‑person client meetings and industry events.
Nice to have
- Existing relationships with major EMEA gaming publishers/studios and leading media agencies.
- Experience working with emerging or innovative ad products in a high‑growth environment.
- Self‑serve platform experience.
- Passion for gaming and strong knowledge of the EMEA gaming landscape.
This is an international position in London employed by an international PEO.
The On Target Earnings (OTE) for this full‑time position is £153,600.00 - £172,800.00 + benefits. Our ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
