1:1 Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a caring, committed, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly mainstream primary school in Oxfordshire - Chipping Norton. This rewarding role involves providing 1:1 support for a children, helping them to access learning and take part fully in daily school activities.

The Role:

Provide individualised 1:1 support throughout the school day
Assist with learning activities, personal development, and social interaction
Work closely with the class teacher and SEN staff to support learning plans
Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
Support the child's independence, confidence, and engagement in school lifeThe Ideal Candidate:

Has experience working with children in a primary school setting (desirable but not essential)
Is patient, caring, and adaptable, with a positive attitude
Communicates well with children, staff, and parents
Is reliable and committed to supporting a child's individual needs
Holds an Enhanced DBS certificate or is willing to apply for oneThis is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in a child's education and wellbeing while becoming part of a supportive and welcoming school community
