Job summary The Zero Emissions Logistics Assistant will be responsible for overseeing the overnight operations associated to the management of zero emissions vehicles to ensure maximum coverage or mileage is achieved in accordance with Metroline’s contractual obligations. To maintain relative operational activities in line with the performance of zero emission vehicles.

Main Responsibilities Ensure that appropriate health and safety standards are maintained (PPE, signage, contractor inductions) within their area of responsibility and conducts regular risk assessment where/when appropriate. Work with the night/day staff and cleaning contractors, conducting a series of emergency plans to deal with scenarios such as power failure, equipment failure, electrical fire or any other incident that could affect vehicle availability or charging processes. Proactively manages/oversees charging times and ensure management of battery life is correctly utilised.
