Croydon Start Date: September Full-Time | Permanent Contract

Reed Education are working with a welcoming and community-focused primary school in Croydon to recruit a dedicated Year 6 Teacher for a permanent position starting this September.

The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Year 6 Teacher who can deliver engaging learning experiences and confidently support pupils through their final year of primary school. You will play a key role in preparing children for SATs and their transition to secondary education.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality teaching aligned with the Year 6 curriculum
Prepare pupils effectively for end-of-KS2 assessments
Monitor and track pupil progress, identifying areas for support
Maintain a positive, structured and inclusive classroom environment
Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and families
Contribute to wider school life and enrichment opportunities

What We Are Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
A reflective, committed practitioner passionate about pupil achievement
Ability to work effectively as part of a supportive team
