About the Role: We are working closely with a well-regarded primary school in the Pontefract (WF7) area who are seeking a strong, confident, and experienced Year 5/6 Teacher to start immediately after the Easter holidays. This is a part-time, long-term position where you will play a key role in supporting pupils through the crucial final years of primary school, including preparation for SATs. What You ll Be Doing Teaching a motivated and friendly Year 5/6 class Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons Preparing pupils for SATs in a structured, supportive and encouraging way Working collaboratively with a positive and proactive SLT Creating a calm, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment What We re Looking For To be successful in this role, you should be: An experienced KS2 Teacher, ideally with Year 5/6 or SATs experience Confident in behaviour management with a warm, consistent approach Able to build strong relationships quickly with pupils, staff and parents Available on a part-time basis from straight after Easter, working Wednesday and Thursday each week Passionate about helping pupils achieve their full potential This school values teachers who bring energy, consistency, and a genuine love for Upper KS2 teaching.
