Desian Education is currently partnering with a school in St Helen’s to recruit a year year 5/6 class teacher for a long-term teaching position starting in April 2026. The role is initially for the summer term however could be extended into the 2026/27 academic year. We are welcoming applications from ECTs and experienced teachers. Your New Role: You will be working a in a large single form entry primary school in St Helen’s alongside an experience teaching and support team who work hard to create an environment where all children can achieve their goals. As a year 5/6 class teacher you will have full teaching responsibilities which will include: Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons in line with the KS2 national curriculum. Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes emotional well-being and academic progress. Support children preparing for KS2 SATs Work collaboratively with experienced TA's and the wider school team to ensure consistent support for pupils.
