The position is to commence in January for 2 terms with a view of a direct contract in September for the right candidate.

This is a large 2 form entry school with a very supportive welcoming SLT team.

They have pupils from different backgrounds and cultures and welcome inclusivity.

As a Year 5 teacher you will be ready to lead a classroom and make a positive impact from day one.

Responsibilities as a Year 5 teacher: Implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of pupils You will foster a positive learning environment through effective behaviour management techniques Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and development Evaluate pupil performance, providing feedback and support as needed Collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational programs and share best practices Maintain a safe and nurturing classroom atmosphere that promotes early childhood education principles To be considered for this role as a Year 5 Teacher, you must: Hold a relevant teaching qualification xbpsjku with QTS (e.g.

PGCE, B.Ed., BA Hons with QTS) Be eligible to work in the UK Have experience working with children (school placements included) Be able to provide two references covering the last two years, ideally from placements or child-related settings Hold a current DBS registered to the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
