Class Teacher: Year 5 (KS2) Contract: Long Term Role Dates: To start as soon as possible until Summer 2026 Salary: £150.00 - £210.00 per day dependant on experience The Opportunity We are looking for an inspiring and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join our school for two critical terms. This role is perfect for a teacher who enjoys seeing the "lightbulb moments" and wants to play a pivotal role in shaping a child's academic journey. You will lead your Year 5 class through the Summer term-helping them celebrate their achievements and prepare for Year 6 . Key Responsibilities Assessment & Achievement: Support current Year 5 pupils through their end-of-year assessments with a focus on a "low-stress, high-success" environment. Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver creative, high-quality lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum. Transition Management: Lead a robust transition for the incoming Year 6s ensuring they feel secure, happy, and ready to learn after the summer break. What We Are Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 5 experience is highly advantageous). A nurturing approach with high expectations for pupil behaviour and progress. The ability to work collaboratively within a close-knit KS2 team. Why Join Us?
