Year 5 Teacher - Newcastle-under-LymeWorking Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:15am-3:30pm
Pay: £150-£200 per day

Your New SchoolHays Education is working in partnership with a supportive and well‑established primary school in Newcastle‑under‑Lyme. The school prides itself on creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child is encouraged to thrive. They are now seeking a committed Year 5 teacher to join their team full‑time.
Your New RoleIn this role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, high‑quality lessons to Year 5 pupils. Your duties will include:

Planning, preparing, and delivering lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
Using effective assessment techniques to monitor and support pupil progress
Establishing a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
Collaborating with colleagues, teaching assistants, and leadership teams
Maintaining strong communication with parents and carers
Adhering to all safeguarding policies and ensuring pupil wellbeing at all timesWhat You'll Need to Succeed

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience within Key Stage 2 (Year 5 preferred)
Strong classroom and behaviour management
A proactive and enthusiastic teaching approach
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
