A welcoming and inclusive primary school in UB3 is seeking a Year 5 teacher to join the team from January. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys guiding independent learners, building strong relationships and creating a positive classroom culture.
Role: Year 5 Teacher
Start Date: First week of January 2026
Location: UB3, West London
Contract: Full Time - Jan to July (possibility of extension)
Salary: MPS 1 - UPS 2 (Outer London Pay Scale)
Responsibilities
As the Year 5 teacher, Plan and deliver engaging lessons that support progress
Inspire pupils through clear routines, positive reinforcement and structured expectations
Use assessment to identify next steps for learning and support pupils of all abilities
Build positive partnerships with families and work collaboratively with colleagues
Contribute to consistent standards and pupil development across the school
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching Year 5 Classes
Able to build a fair, respectful and encouraging learning environment
Committed to consistent communication and professional collaboration
