About the Role Destination Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 4 Primary School Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in East Finchley. This full-time role is ideal for a confident Key Stage 2 teacher who is passionate about delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils as they continue to build on their learning journey. The school has a strong community ethos, supportive leadership, and a clear focus on high standards of teaching and learning. You will take full responsibility for a Year 4 class, working closely with teaching assistants and colleagues to ensure all pupils are challenged, supported, and able to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Year 4 curriculum. Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment. Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, providing clear feedback and next steps. Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with additional needs. Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and senior leaders. Maintain accurate records and contribute to parents’ evenings and staff meetings.
