A large, welcoming 3-form entry primary school in Hounslow is seeking a confident and motivated Year 4 Teacher to join their Key Stage 2 team from January 2026. This is a long-term position for the remainder of the academic year, with a strong opportunity to move onto a permanent contract from September 2026.

The Role
Full responsibility for a Year 4 class
Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Using assessment effectively to inform planning and intervention
Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEN and EAL
Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement
Working closely with parallel teachers, teaching assistants, and phase leaders
The Ideal Candidate
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Previous KS2 experience is essential (Year 4 experience desirable)
Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
Enthusiastic, reflective, and committed to high standards of teaching and learning
Able to work collaboratively within a large team
