Milk Education is partnering with a warm, supportive primary school in Leeds seeking a dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join their Lower Key Stage 2 team. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire learners, deliver engaging lessons, and play a key role in pupils’ academic and personal development.

Role Details

Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:30–16:00

Start Date: Flexible Start

Contract: Week-by-week initially, with potential for a long-term or permanent role

Your Role & Responsibilities

Teach and inspire a Year 4 class through creative, structured, and inclusive lessons

Plan, deliver, and assess learning in line with the KS2 curriculum

Set meaningful home learning tasks and provide effective feedback

Support pupils of varying abilities, including those with SEND

Promote positive behaviour and contribute to a safe, supportive classroom atmosphere

Work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents

Uphold safeguarding and school behaviour policies

What We’re Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE with QTS

Experience teaching KS2 or confidence to step into a Year 4 environment

Strong classroom and behaviour management

A proactive, positive, and enthusiastic approach

Commitment to creating an engaging and inclusive learning experience

ECTs are encouraged to apply
