The Role
We are seeking an experienced Year 4 Primary Teacher to join the school on a long-term basis. As the Year 4 teacher, you will play a key role in nurturing the academic and personal development of students while creating a positive, engaging classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the Year 4 curriculum
Develop students' skills in English, maths, and other core subjects
Prepare students for end-of-year assessments with care and support
Create an inspiring and structured classroom environment
Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
Use assessment to track progress and inform next steps
What We're Looking For
Essential:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Proven experience teaching in KS2, specifically Year 4
Strong knowledge of the Year 4 curriculum
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
Passion for teaching and helping students succeed
Desirable:
Experience preparing students for Key Stage 2 assessments
Strong behaviour management skills
A creative and dynamic teaching style
