Year 3/4 Class Teacher (Maternity Cover) Woodley | Full Time | Start April/May | MPS1-MPS6

An outstanding and highly sought-after school in Woodley is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Year 3/4 Class Teacher to join its dedicated team on a full-time maternity cover basis from April/May.

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for a wonderful Year 3/4 class of average size with mixed ability pupils. The class benefits from dedicated Teaching Assistant support, ensuring high-quality provision and targeted interventions.

This is a full-time maternity cover position paid on the Main Pay Scale (MPS1-MPS6), depending on experience.

Responsibilities will include:

• Full class teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation, marking and assessment
• Delivering engaging, well-differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners
• Creating a positive and stimulating learning environment
• Maintaining high expectations for achievement and behaviour
• Building strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
• Contributing to the wider life and ethos of the school
