Year 2 teacher - January 2026 Maternity Cover

Our lovely primary school in Wickford is seeking a caring and committed professional to join our friendly team from January 2026. This maternity cover position is offered on a one-year contract, with the possibility of extension, and provides a wonderful opportunity to make a real impact in a supportive school community.

We are looking for an enthusiastic year 2 teacher who is passionate about nurturing young learners and delivering high-quality education and training. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, supporting pupil progress, and contributing positively to the wider life of the school.

As a year 2 teacher, you will work closely with experienced colleagues who value collaboration and creativity. Our school places a strong emphasis on education and training, ensuring staff are well supported and encouraged to develop their skills.
