Year 2 Teacher - KS1 (SATs Focus)**

Aspire People are seeking a motivated and confident **Year 2 Teacher** to join a supportive primary school. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working within **KS1** and is confident supporting pupils through their **end of Key Stage 1 assessments**.

The school is looking for a teacher who can balance **strong academic expectations** with a nurturing and engaging classroom approach.

**The Role:**
* Full classroom teaching responsibility within a Year 2 class
* Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum
* Preparing pupils for KS1 SATs in a supportive and structured way
* Supporting phonics, reading, writing, and early maths development
* Assessing progress and adapting teaching to meet pupil needs
* Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment

**The Ideal Candidate:**
* Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
* Experience teaching within KS1 (Year 2 desirable)
* Strong knowledge of phonics and KS1 curriculum expectations
* Confident with assessment and tracking pupil progress
* Positive, organised, and adaptable teaching style
