A highly regarded primary school in the heart of Hazel Grove, Stockport, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Year 1 Teacher to join their vibrant team on a full-time basis to cover a maternity leave. The role is on a full-time basis starting in January and will pay a competitive salary which Is reflective of your skills and experience.

Have direct Key Stage 1 classroom experience Plan creative lessons geared around pupil interests and modern society with an ability to use adaptive strategies to scaffold but also challenge pupils at mastery level Possess a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and age-related expectations Be committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and collaborative classroom environment Be familiar with or have an understanding of the 'Essential Letters and Sounds' phonics programme Be confident in using formative and summative assessment methods to track progress and address misconceptions Uphold the strong Catholic ethos and immerse yourselves in all aspects of school life
